Hi there! I’m Mara, and when I say “we,” it’s really just me. I’m a student at NDSU and a lifelong lover of photography. Ever since I was little, I’ve always felt at home with a camera in my hands. There’s something about freezing a moment in time that has always felt magical to me.

I started taking photos more seriously right after I graduated high school. I spent my summers back home photographing seniors from my old school, and each shoot taught me something new. Over time, what began as a creative outlet turned into something I knew I wanted to do more.

Now I’m making Fargo my home and officially expanding my photography business. I’m so excited to connect with more people, share more stories through photos, and keep growing along the way. My approach to photography is simple: I believe it’s not just about getting the perfect pose. It’s about capturing the real stuff, the everyday moments that make the sweetest images. The laughs, the silly poses, and everything in between.

Another big part of my philosophy is affordability. I believe everyone deserves beautiful photos and meaningful experiences without the stress of a huge price tag. I work hard to keep my services accessible, so you can enjoy your memories without breaking the bank.

So far, I’ve mostly focused on portrait and nature photography, but I’m always looking to learn and try new things. I’d love to photograph events, capture the energy of a party, and one day step into the world of wedding photography. I’m pretty much open to whatever brings joy and helps tell your story.
